Contemporary Etchings

Piers adores working in simple monochrome and finds  the immediacy of DRYPOINTING  = scratching into metal
to create a line without using acid which 'etches' a plate, to be wonderful. he is a master-printer and being that
he can keep a line vibrant and velvet'y in its printing when others do perfectly good drypoints but ruin the perfect effect by not printing the plate expertly.

DIAL HOUSE GALLERY in Kimbolton has permanently an ever-changing collection of his best black and white worls - framed.
