PB's latest illustrated BOOK  is a 'Novella' of 80% fact and
Click here for upcoming event fiction.
was bound by September 26th (2017) bound and  and we are having, until Oct 16,  the Northern launch at The Pyramid Gallery in Stonegate, York (under the shadow of the Minster
The Pyramid stays open 7 days a week -  Sunday hours but usually 11-4- PB will be there on Saturday Oct 7th from 12 -3pm  as, after some printing tribulation, all 500 of the book have been beautifully bound by Smith Settle of Yeadon
'LA ROUTE...'  has 29 colour etchings therein - which  includes one large one of two olive trees in a violet field in  a March gale.

March is when the violets, les fleurs hivernale, begin to die-back. Like snowdrops here which herald our Spring, the end of violet blossoming in late March heralds the south of France's Spring height.
Etchings are PB's forté: the writing takes longer, but it's said it is a good "yarn about yearning".

The Southern  launch is at La Galleria (Tuesday Nov 28 - Dec 2) in the southern end of the Royal Opera Arcade in Pall Mall in sight of Trafalgar Square few hundred metres to the east. Open about 10am - 8 pm, possibly later each day, with the final day Saturday Dec 4th at 4pm.
If you would like to come to the PREVIEW  on Monday  Nov night the 27th from 6-9pm,  text your name(s) to 07876233310 or email

Do enquire about "LA Route...":,  or write to his address on the CONTACT page here, but do  see plenty of these Provencal etchings advertised on this www under Etchings  then Foreign, and 'Provencal' oils elsewhere on this website.

Closed only Mondays mainly as Sundays sometimes.
At present Piers has a bin-load (NOT a rubbish bin Ha Ha!) of Seascape and some landscape etchings and two 'important' good sized  Oils
Highgate 'Village' is delightful with good cafes and restaurants not not anywhere near stockbroker/barrister prices - and Waterlow Park a bout 100 metres down towards Archway opposite the gallery.
Kenwood House and Hampstead Heath are easily walkable if you head west a few hundred metres on the road towards Kentish Town, turn right down Merton Road and go past the delightful bathing 'ponds' .

If coming from quite a few miles away from Highgate, the tube at ARCHWAY on the Barnet line of this Northern Line is very fast. You can then  bus the minute up the hill, or walk it in five minutes. It will be  worth it. Good quality art here!

Piers has shown etchings here for over 25 years, and, although not a great amount of works in this gallery, his work has proven very popular in a very white, clean but warm spaced ambience - with v pleasant staff.
Within these dates listed, the gallery celebrate 25 years (is it 35 years?) of the gallery's existence with their printmakers, incl. Piers, to the fore.
