Until taken over in 2016 and a more modern set of artists, Piers was fully represented here.
But he has a bin-load (NOT a rubbish bin Ha Ha!) of Seascape and some landscape etchings and two 'important' good sized  Oils
Highgate 'Village' is delightful with good cafes and restaurants not not anywhere near stockbroker/barrister prices - and Waterlow Park a bout 100 metres down towards Archway opposite the gallery.
Kenwood House and Hampstead Heath are easily walkable if you head west a few hundred metres on the road towards Kentish Town, turn right down Merton Road and go past the delightful bathing 'ponds' .

If coming from quite a few miles away from Highgate, the tube at ARCHWAY on the Barnet line of this Northern Line is very fast. You can then  bus the minute up the hill, or walk it  (uphill) in five minutes.

March 31st to May 13th 2018  YORKSHIRE'S COAST AND SEA Hartlake Gallery, The Old School, Muker. Piers will be showing a few Good OILS and several etchings in this show alongside many other local artists in a gallery very close to his home!
SEPT 1 - 30th
Etchings  as reproduced in PB's many books.
Hartlake Gallery, The Old School, MUKER in the heart of Swaledale
Thjis is an important One-man with some dozen ORIGINAL etchings from each...(reproduced in) of his 8 books.
THIS SHOW will be furthermore fascinating as Piers may show some of the original proofs which were taken en route to the final 'pull' off his plate or plates which made up one single etching. He may be asked to do a short talk at the Preview about the making of one etchings from each of his books - from A SHROPSHIRE LAD (1988), AN ELEGY IN ARCADY (1990), WILLIAM WORDSWORTH: A LAKELAND ANTHOLOGY (1991) WENSLEYDALE (1994), his veritable magnum opus THE GLORIOUS TREES OF GT BRITAIN ((2002), SONNETS FOR A SIREN (unpublished, written and illustrated in2008, and 2017/18's LA ROUTE DES VIOLETTES.

Nov 4th to Dec 24th (2017), Piers exhibited one of his 8 large SEASONS  etchings 'OCTOBER DUSK: UPPER WENSLEYDALE FROM 'ELLERKIN' in their PRINTMAKERS SHOW to celebtate 25 (was it 35?( years of their cheery existence.
Craft Centre and Design Gallery, The Headrow, LEEDS
Piers has shown etchings here for over 25 years, and, although not a great amount of works in this gallery, his work has proven very popular in a very white, clean but warm spaced ambience - with v pleasant staff.
