Highgate Contemporary Art
26 Highgate High Street
T. 020 8340 7564
Closed only Mondays mainly as Sundays often check.

Until taken over in 2016 and a more modern set of artists, Piers was once fully represented here. But their 'style' is more abstract now tho' he is fond of the gallery - great pottery downstairs
Highgate 'Village' is delightful with good cafes and restaurants not not anywhere near stockbroker/barrister prices - and Waterlow Park about 100 metres down towards Archway opposite the gallery. Kenwood House and Hampstead Heath are easily walkable if you head west a few hundred metres on the road towards Kentish Town, turn right down Merton Road and go past the delightful bathing 'ponds' .
If coming from quite a few miles away from Highgate, the tube at ARCHWAY on the Barnet line of this Northern Line is very fast. You can then  bus the minute up the hill, or walk it  (uphill) in five minutes.

Throughout 2019, but Piers really looks forward to showing oils etc of SWALEDALE in 2020
Hartlake Gallery
(in glorious Swaledale  right by The Farmers Arms - really a gastro-pub with great array of beers AND good food)
Piers, after his successfull show in September '18 of etchings from his 7 illustrated books, always has a few works on show here - and a one-man of Swaledale oils in 2020
TWO GREAT OILS on show in their SUMMER SHOW in June 2019.

The Russell Gallery, 12 Lower Rickmond Road, Putney, London, SW15 1JP Piers has shown a variety of pictures both oils and etchings at this Gallery near the Thames Embankment for several happy years.
A brisk, cheery walk over Putney Bridge from Putney Bridge tube on n bank of Thames and turn right and walk for 2 mins max on the south bank of Thames is v quick way of getting there
To celebtate 25 years of their cheery existence, Piers showed a few large etchings from his SEASONS' series - which he rates. There are some large loose etchings in their bin.

Very pleasant staff and ambience and interesting craft work, ceramics etc.% mins walk from the main station up a gentle slope. NOT a huge selection of PBs at all.

A Musical drama with sets, songs, score and book by PB but  with musical director the amazing Colin Bailey in charge of the songs and pretty well everything but not himself acting, while others are doing lighting and acting - especially v talented thespian, local teenagers.
Mark Cronfield will act and Alastair McLachlan helps with the Book and I believe directs.
